Bryan Turner
SKILLS TRAINING COACH
With training and development, Turner's philosophy begins and ends with a no-nonsense approach to high-level fundamental skill development combined with mental toughness and sports-specific performance training. Turner will work with each athlete to develop their own personal basketball blueprint.
Joe Green
SKILLS TRAINING COACH
Coach Joe Green is currently the Associate Head Coach at St. Mary's High School in St. Louis, MO. He also spent one year as the Assistant Head Coach at Career Academy and the Head Coach at Compton-Drew Middle School from 2007-2014. He led the 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team to a winning record of 100-8 over the course of six seasons. Green began his playing career in 1993 as a member of the Riverview Gardens High School Varsity Basketball Team where he played all four years. He moved on after high school to play at the collegiate level at Harris-Stowe State University from 1997-1999.
Jermain Smith
SKILLS TRAINING COACH
Coach Jermain Smith is currently the Assistant Coach at St. Mary’s High School and a Special Education Teacher’s Assistant for ETS @ MadisonI. Coach Smith has enjoyed years coaching am a graduate of Beaumont High School where I played basketball for four years, and I also played for two years for Forest Park Community College. In 2010, I became a volunteer coach for Beaumont High School for two seasons, and I also coached for Gateway STEM for a season. Currently, . Basketball has taught me life lessons on how to be a role model, coach, and most importantly a better father. Basketball has helped me to be a productive citizen in my community. I live by the quote of “One Team, One God, One Goal.
Patrick Brown
SKILLS TRAINING COACH
Coach Patrick Brown is in his first year as Freshmen Coach at St. Mary's High School. Coach Brown is a valuable asset to have for our basketball program. His previous experience includes eight seasons as the Boys Head Coach at Metro Academic and Classical High School in St. Louis MO and two seasons as Varsity Assistant at Gateway STEM High School also in St. Louis MO. Coach Brown also helps out, trains and coaches AAU/Summer with the Larry Hughes Basketball Academy.
Troy Slaten
SKILLS TRAINING COACH
Coach Slaten born a native of St. Louis, MO brings a wealth of basketball knowledge to the Dragons program. As a player, Coach Slaten was a 4 year varsity player at Marquette High School in Chesterfield, MO. The Missouri State scoring champion for 2 years, 3 time All State, 2 time All-Metro Player. 2 time Conference Player of Year, and a Nike All American Camp attendee. Played for St. Louis Eagles Elite Basketball Program for 4 years and was the leading scorer on each team.
